Nationally purchased content comprises a range of electronic databases, journals, ebooks, British Medical Journal (BMJ) Best Practice, and Trip Pro.

Health Education England (HEE) funds these resources and National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) manages the procurement process and the contracts with suppliers.

NICE funds the British National Formulary (BNF) and the Cochrane Library. These resources are authenticated via Internet Protocol (IP) address. 

All other resources are authenticated via NHS OpenAthens. Register for an OpenAthens account.

Resources may be accessed from the HEE Knowledge and Library Hub (you should login with your OpenAthens account via the yellow bar to ensure you get access to all your resources).
